As per Hollywood Reporter, this upcoming superhero film will not be screened in Saudi Arabia due to the inclusion of homosexuality in the film. Since homosexuality is banned in most Middle East countries, that\u2019s why, apart from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain have also banned this movie. Being a follow-up to the 2016 Doctor Strange, the film follows the titular character in action after the events of Spiderman: no way home. It features Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, and Benedict Wong in the lead cast. Xochitl Gomez is also cast as America Chavez whose depiction is of a lesbian in comics as well as in this movie. So, it didn\u2019t fit well with the censor boards of Saudi Arabia and UAE where it has been banned.
