The 94th Academy Awards ceremony will be remembered for the most shocking moment in history. When Will Smith slapped the famous comedian, Chris Rock, it was heard all around the globe. Apparently, Will didn’t take the joke lightly about his wife by the comedian. The tensions between the two stars were started in the back of 2016 when Chris joked about Jada Pinkett Smith at the Oscar ceremony. But in the recent Oscar ceremony, Chris joked about her appearance when he said he is waiting for J. I Jane 2 in which Demi Moore was bald. Well, things took an ugly turn after these remarks because Jada is suffering from Alopecia which caused her to lose her hair. Will Smith laughed at first after hearing this comment but then he slowly walked towards Chris and smacked him. At first, the audience started to laugh by taking it as a prank but when Smith shouted in full anger, everybody was shocked. After the slap, Chris maintained his exposure and exhibited his professionalism by remaining in a light mood. But Smith, on the other hand, remained stressed and broke down in tears after winning his first Oscar. He apologized to the academy and his fellow nominees but not to Chris Rock. This incident sparked a debate all across the social media platforms where many people are condemning Will Smith for his low behavior. Some fans have taken sides with Will Smith alongside Will’s Son, Jaden Smith who tweeted “That’s how we do it.” Chris Rock declined to sue Will Smith for his physical assault however, no further comments have been made by the comedian.
