Extraction 2 │ News Update ( The Cine Wizard )
After the success of Extraction (2020), Netflix has finally given a green signal for the production of its sequel, Extraction 2. After observing the overwhelming success of its first part, Joe Russo was hired in May 2020 to write a sequel for the 2nd installment. Apart from him, the director of the first film, Sam Hargrave was also hired to direct this upcoming action film. Starring Chris Hemsworth in the lead role, the story follows Tyler Rake who is a former SASR operator who has turned into a black-ops mercenary. In the previous part, It was shown that Tyler has died at the end after he was severely wounded. This ambiguous ending was shown for its potential sequel which comes in handy. Now, he is back in business to complete another important mission. The shooting for Extraction 2 has concluded on 19th March 2022 and now it has entered into the editing phase. It is scheduled to be released in June 2022.
