House of the Dragon – 2022 │ News Update ( The Cine Wizard )
The competition is getting tough because HBO is releasing its most-awaiting series of all time. Like Netflix and other major streaming services, HBO has planned to take the game up. After the success of the Game of Thrones series, fans were waiting for a prequel and now they are finally getting it. Based on George R. R. Martin’s novel, Fire and Blood, this prequel is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. Its story will follow the House Targaryen and its members. We will watch the beginning of the end of Targaryen era and the Targaryen civil war, Dance of Dragons. The show is created by Ryan J. Condal and Martin himself has joined Ryan as a showrunner. This action fantasy series has an ensemble cast that includes some major names like Matt Smith, Olivia Cook, and Paddy Considine. The filming for House of the Dragon has been completed and it is right now, in post-production. It means this epic show is getting the final touch before release. Consisting of ten episodes, House of the Dragon is scheduled to be released in mid-2022. There is going to be a tough competition between this series and Amazon’s LOTR prequel series.
