Loki and Sylvie travel to different times and places, and it’s very exciting. As the season goes on, we will find out more about why there are multiple universes and what secrets the TVA has been keeping. This story takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which is connected to the other movies in the series. The show is made by Marvel Studios. Eric Martin is in charge of writing and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead had directed it.
Tom Hiddleston is playing Loki again. He is acting with Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Renslayer, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, Neil Ellice, Jonathan Majors, and Owen Wilson as Mobius, who are also coming back from the first season. Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, and Ke Huy Quan are also in the cast. By November 2020, they had started working on the second season. It was officially confirmed in July 2021. Martin, Benson, and Moorhead were all hired by the end of February 2022. Filming started in June 2022 at Pinewood Studios and ended in October. Dan DeLeeuw and Kasra Farahani were announced as extra directors for the season in June 2023.
