Bradley Cooper is bringing another film this winter. This biographical drama movie is titled “Maestro.” It is based on the life of famous music composer and opera conductor, “Leonard Bernstein”. The streaming giant Netflix is behind this upcoming biopic. Although Bradley himself is leading this film as the director as well as the main character, some of the biggest names from Hollywood are also behind this project. As for the cast, Oscar-nominee Bradly Cooper is playing the lead role. Alongside him, Carey Mulligan has been cast as Leonard’s wife Felicia Bernstein. Other cast members are Maya Hawk, Sarah Silverman, Matt Bomer, Micheal Uri, and Alexa Swinton. The film was initially expected to begin filming on April 5, 2021, in Los Angeles. For some technical reasons, the filming began in May 2022. Production occurred at Tanglewood between May 21 and 26 and in New York City. Filming also took place over three days at Ely Cathedral in England, between October 20 and 22. Maestro is scheduled to have a limited release in theaters in November before hitting Netflix on December 20, 2023.
