Featuring some of the rising talents from the film industry, this upcoming film is on the list of every action lover. It has all the elements which make it a great action thriller flick like assassins, gun battles, and hand-to-hand combat. So, what makes it worth watching, and when it will be out there? Hollywood has no shortage of amazing movies. When it comes to the action genre, there are a lot of action films but only some of them are worth watching. However, since the release of John Wick films, the action we sought in films is also changed. Now, we have more realistic action sequences in upcoming movies. Apart from hardcore action and thrill, the plot of a film greatly matters to the audience. That’s why, many movies which are coming on our screens, have these qualities. But the question is which action film has the higher chance to become a hit among movie buffs? Well, to be honest, a virtuous assassin fighting against a powerful, corrupt man, is always well-received by the viewers. Therefore, “The Collective” is incorporating all the concepts to make it a hit movie at the box office. The official synopsis released by the studio reads, “A group of righteous assassins called The Collective take aim at a highly sophisticated human trafficking ring backed by a network of untouchable billionaires. With their backs against the wall, The Collective has no choice but to put their most important mission in the hands of rookie assassin Sam Alexander”. Now, you have a bunch of bad guys, a bunch of righteous assassins, and an underdog who wants to prove himself. From this synopsis, it seems the movie has a perfect recipe to earn some big bucks at the box office. As for the cast members, it does not disappoint us in this area. First off, we have Tyrese Gibson, whom you may know from the Fast and Furious saga. Gibson is not shy about the action genre because he has a lot of projects like this one on his resume. Apart from that, we have Ruby Rose as the main character and the possible love interest of our rookie. Ruby gained fame when she starred in John Wick 2 as a deadly assassin. Lucas Till is playing the role of the rookie and the central figure of this story. He has portrayed the character of “Havoc” in movies like X-Men First Class and X-Men Apocalypse. Apart from these stars, we have Don Johnson, Mercedes Varnado, John Fiore, and Paul Ben-Victor in the supporting roles. Tom DeNucci is handling this project as the director while Jason James and Mathew Rogers have penned the script. The Collective is scheduled to hit theaters on August 4, 2023.
