‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” is finally swinging into cinemas in the summer of 2023! This highly anticipated sequel is actually the first of a two-part follow-up, to the award-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse movie. Originally titled Part One and Part Two, the third film has now been given a standalone title of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. But while we wait for that, we’ve already had the first teaser trailer for Across the Spider-Verse which left us with more questions than answers. And get this, we’ve also had some cast announcements.
Yes, this exciting news has been confirmed for all fans of Spider-Man. It turns out that this film is not a standalone release but instead the first half of a two-part story. The 3rd part, titled “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse”, is set to arrive on March 29, 2024, less than a year after this movie’s release. This means that the franchise will conclude with a trilogy of films, with the third film wrapping up the story that began with the original film in 2018.
