Do you know, Russo Brothers are making a new survival thriller film for Amazon Prime? Starring Zoe Saldana in the titular role, this film takes place on a 19th-century Caribbean Island where pirates and buccaneers are facing off against each other. Zoe Saldaña will be playing the lead, a retired pirate named Ercell who is forced to come out of retirement to defend her people and her land. She has to face those vicious invaders seeking retribution for her past sins. Originally set at Netflix, the project didn’t make much progress and was put back on the market. However, it didn’t take long for the rights to be picked up by Prime Video. The script is being written by Joe Ballarini with help of Frank E. Flowers who will also direct this film.
