Do you know, the famous horror film trilogy The Exorcist is being reproduced? Apparently, Blumhouse Productions, the leading studio in making horror films is teaming up with David Gordon Green to expand this Exorcist universe. To do that, a new Exorcist film trilogy based on the famous novel of the same name by William Peter, is in development. The first film of this trilogy is set to release this year. It will follow a desperate parent of a possessed child who turns to Ellen Burstyn’s character for help. Ellen Burstyn is cast in this film, and she’ll be reprising her role as Chris MacNeil from the original Exorcist film 1973. Leslie Odom Jr. will be playing the father of a possessed child.
