Indiana Jones 5 is all set to make a great entrance this year. After several delays, the 5th entry in the Indian Jones film series, has finally received a release date. But in this film, you will be watching a lot of changes. Some of them are good and some of them are not. So, let’s discuss them but before doing that, subscribe to CineFlicks News and smash the bell icon. Indiana Jones and the dial of destiny is overall 5th and perhaps, the last film in the series. A lot of changes have been made to it. For example, it will be the first movie in the series that is not directed by Steven Spielberg. But he is one of the producers of this film and he is the one who chose James Mangold to direct it. It will also be the first film in the series that is not written by George Lucas, the writer, and creator of the Indiana Jones character. Instead of Lucas, this part is written by the Butterworth brothers. In that movie, we will be watching an old Indy who has lost hope and living a simple life. His adventure begins when his goddaughter shows up at his door seeking his help. Their task is to recover an artifact that holds the power of time traveling. His adversary is a former Nazi scientist working for the US government. Harrison Ford is reprising his role of Indiana Jones but this is his last film in the character of Indy. Due to his age, Ford will not reprise his role in the future. This decision was made by him after he got injured on the set. Furthermore, Ford’s character would not be recast. So, this last film will be a worthy conclusion of this franchise as well as the character itself. Apart from him, Mads Mikkelsen, Antonio Banderas, Pheobe Waller-Bridge, and Boyd Holbrook are cast in supporting roles. The filming took place in various locations like London, Italy, Morocco, and USA. Indiana Jones 5 is scheduled to be released worldwide on June 20, 2023.
