Do you know, the streaming giant Netflix has released The Witcher: Blood Origin? This miniseries is a prequel to the original Witcher saga. If you haven’t read the books and don’t know the origins of witchers, then this series is made for you. It has an ensemble cast that includes Michelle Yeoh, Sophia Brown, Minnie Driver, and Dylan Moran. Consisting of 4 episodes, this series shows many historical events in the Witcher lore. For example, from the creation of the first witcher to the conjunction of the spheres. But despite being a prequel to an already famous show, this series has failed to impress critics as well as the audience. Although, it received positive reviews for its special effects, still, it is nowhere near the original show. Many critics have noted a fast pace and a rush storyline in just 4 episodes.
