Why did Melissa McBride exit The Walking Dead spinoff? │ News Update ( The Cine Wizard )
Melissa McBride has exited a new spin-off series from the Walking Dead franchise. The actress played the character of “Carol Peletier” who was quite popular among the fans of the Walking Dead series. As the original series is near its end, several spin-off shows are currently in development and one of them was aimed to star Melissa and Norman Reedus from which she has walked off. Well, her exit didn’t fit well with fans and a lot of hate is still coming at Norman Reedus who is playing the character of Daryl Dixon in TWD. After seeing this negative response, the official Twitter account of The Walking Dead show has issued a statement regarding this whole matter. In the statement, they defend Norman because he has no part in the exit of Melissa McBride. Apparently, Melissa decided she could not participate in the series because relocating to Europe became logistically unsuitable for her. So, this is purely her own decision and it is utterly unfair to target Norman for her exit.
