Disney+ has a whole lot of star Wars shows on the way, and one of these shows is The Acolyte. Still under wraps and shrouded in mysteries, Lucasfilm and Disney have kept everything about the Acolyte is a secret. But still, we got some sneak peeks to share with you. The acolyte is an upcoming sci-fi action-adventure show from the star wars universe. Acolyte is a term used in star wars to describe those who have just started their path on the dark side of the force. In simple words, the ACOLYTE is a rank in Sith order, where the apprentice starts his training under the tutelage of any Sith Lord. From the official synopsis, it is clear that this series will depict the emergence of dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic Era. This means we will be watching how the dark side of the force became so strong because the high republic era was the time before the events of the original star wars trilogy. Leslye Headland, the creator of the Russian Doll series, is the head of this project. She has also joined the writers ‘table to develop the script for this show. The developments for this series have just started recently and the filming will be started in the next two months. It is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2023.
