The Exorcist (2023) │ David Gordon Green │ Ellen Burstyn (The Cine Wizard)
The great news for horror lovers, is that the most terrifying horror film ever made is getting a new sequel. Yes, The Exorcist franchise is having a new film which will be a direct sequel to the original 1973 film, The Exorcist. Being a Blum house production, a studio famous for horror movies, this upcoming horror film is being helmed by David Gordon Green, the man who successfully rebooted the Halloween series in 2018. It stars Ellen Burstyn from the original film and Leslie Odom Jr. is also cast in a supporting role. It will be a trilogy just like Halloween and the first film is scheduled to be released in October, 2023. It will be the 6th installment in The Exorcist franchise and its story will follow a child who has been possessed by a demon. Like its predecessor, it will be full of violent, and stomach-churning imagery that will give you Goosebumps.
