The Sandman │ News Update ( The Cine Wizard )
We have some great news for all crazy fans of The Sandman because, Netflix is going to release the first season of Sandman this year. If you are familiar with this name, then you should be excited too. The Sandman is a comic book written by Neil Gaiman and published by DC comics. For many years, it was considered an impossible task to bring this comic book to our screens. But everything is going to change now because Netflix and DC comics have teamed up and live action of this saga is not so far. Due to graphic content and difficult concepts, The Sandman was very difficult to adapt for any film or series. But with a heavy budget, this upcoming fantasy thriller is finally coming. David S. Goyer along with Neil Gaiman is acting as the showrunner for this upcoming series. The story will follow the sandman, the ruler of dreams as he mends his mistakes during his vast existence. This dark fantasy has many things for its viewers like historical figures as well as legends. The titular character is being played by Tom Sturridge and the additional cast includes Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Gwendoline Christie, and Stephan Fry. It is scheduled to be released in May 2022 on Netflix.
