Star Wars Obi-wan Kenobi is on its way to Disney+ and fans can’t wait for anymore. After the official announcement made at the Disney D23 event in the back of 2019, the speculations about this project took the internet like a storm. But now things have changed because we have some real insights about this upcoming sci-fi action series. When Disney officials announced that there will be many spin-offs and stand-alone sequels in the Star war universe, people started to ask about Obi-wan Kenobi’s future. Therefore, this miniseries is finally destined to be released on May 25, 2022, on Disney+. Consisting of six episodes, this series will take place with a 10-year time-jump after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of Sith (2005). The titular character Obi-wan Kenobi is living in exile on planet Tatooine and his only purpose, for now, is to watch over Luke Skywalker. But the situation change when Obi has to embark on an adventure again for the safety of Luke Skywalker. The exact plot is still in dark but one thing is sure, there will be a rematch between Obi and his former apprentice, Darth Vader. Ewan McGregor will reprise his role of Obi-wan from the prequel trilogy. Apart from Ewan, Hayden Christensen and Joel Edgerton are also returning in their previous characters. So, just wait a little bit more to see Obi’s action again.
